The Erasmus Institute of Seville
At The Erasmus Institute of Seville, we believe that Erasmus+ mobility should go beyond academic training.
Our Cultural & Social Programme is designed to immerse participants in the artistic, historical and gastronomic richness of Andalusia. These optional packages complement our Erasmus+ courses and enhance intercultural learning.
Participants can choose from structured programmes with 3, 4 or 5 activities, carefully curated to combine culture, tradition and authentic local experiences.
All packages are available at both campuses (Seville Urban Campus and Andalusian Countryside Campus), with location-specific activities included where appropriate.
PACKAGE 1 – Essential Seville Experience
- Guided cultural visit to the Real Alcázar of Seville
- Andalusian Cooking Workshop (traditional recipes & tasting)
- Flamenco Show in Triana
- Visit to Seville Cathedral and La Giralda
- Flamenco Masterclass (practical dance & rhythm session)
PACKAGE 2 – Art, Flamenco & Identity
- Flamenco Masterclass (theory & practice)

- Walking tour of the Santa Cruz historic quarter
- Andalusian Cooking Workshop
PACKAGE 3 – Andalusian Heritage Route
- Visit to Ronda

- Olive Oil Mill (Almazara) Experience Guided visit to a traditional olive oil mill to discover the full production process of extra virgin olive oil, including tasting session.
(Available primarily at the Andalusian Countryside Campus.)

- Visit to a traditional Almazara (olive oil mill)

Signature Cultural Experiences Included Across Packages
Participants prepare traditional dishes such as gazpacho, salmorejo, tortilla española and rice-based specialties, learning about Mediterranean diet principles and the cultural role of gastronomy.

Authentic live performance in a traditional venue.
